TAPUT – Kementerian Komunikasi dan Informatika (Kominfo) sudah melakukan pemutusan aplikasi Higgs Domino Island (HDI) di Google Play Store dan Apple App Store.
Menurut Press Release Keminfo RI bahwa omset Higgs Domino mencapai Rp 2,2 Triliun perbulannya, angka ini sudah diatas APBD provinsi terbesar di Indonesia, dimana Higgs Domino jika dikali 1 Tahun bisa mencapai Rp.26,4 Trilium pertahun sedangkan jumlah APBD provinsi Sumatera Utara dilansir dari media online Antaranews.com hanya berjumlahRp12,594 triliun ditahun 2022.
“Rata-rata setiap harinya kami melakukan pemutusan akses terhadap 1.500 sampai 2.000 situs dan puluhan aplikasi termasuk aplikasi gim terkait perjudian online yang serupa dengan HDI,” kata Budi Arie Menteri Komunikasi dan Informatika, keterangan persnya.(10-08-2023)
Lebih lanjut, Budi mengungkapkan bahwa data yang ia himpun mendapati perputaran uang di Higgs Domino Island bisa mencapai Rp 2,2 triliun per bulan.
“Berarti setahun bisa sampai sekitar Rp 27 triliun, itu untuk satu situs saja,” ia menuturkan.
Dari keterangan Pers Kominfo RI dimana dalam hal ini, masyarakat Indonesia pelanggan Aplikasi Higgs Domino sudah dirugikan Rp26.4 Triliun pertahun.
Menurut pangakuan salah satu pecandu judi online Higgs Domino yang sudah berhenti dan tobat, mengatakan dalam sebulan bisa kalah Rp.10 juta dalam satu bulan dipermainan sceter Higgs Domino tersebut,

Riko juga mengatakan, dalam hal ini pihak aparat penegak Hukum khususnya Polri sudah seharusnya serius untuk menumpas segala bentuk perjudian ini khususnya Higgs Domino yang sudah menjadi penyakit masyarakat sekarang, sebab dampak Higgs Domino sudah sangat buruk dan menimbulkan kenaikan angka kriminal lainnya, seperti makin banyaknya kasus pencurian karena dampak Sceter Higgs Domino tersebut.
Dengan terbitnya berita ini, masyarakat berharap kepada pihak Kepolisian Republik Indonesia khususnya Polisi Daerah Sumatera Utara serta jajarannya untuk memberantas perjudian Higgs Domino tersebut.
